1. How did you get into the industry? When did you know?
I had family and friends in the business and always found joy in creating new looks with hair. Also, I love to see change in a matter of hours!

20 years!
3. What do you like most about being a hair stylist?
Meeting new people and becoming friends with my regular clients. Also, making people feel good about their hair and how they look.
4. Where do you look for inspiration?
Nature. The colors in nature and how they blend transfers to highlighting the hair.
5. How do you keep up with the latest trends?
Hair shows, television, and education.
6. What are some of your goals?
To help clients maintain style with their busy schedules and become a better business person.
7. What do you consider your specility?
I am a huge fan of highlighting and design on all types of hair.
8. What is your approach to working with hair?
Understanding what their hair will or will not do and communicating that to the client. Also, using product to get the final look right!
9. How do you customize looks for your clients?
Every clients hair is different so styles vary accordingly. I try to work with their lifestyles also, for maintenance purposes.
10. What celebrity always has good hair?
Christina Applegate and Sandra Bullock!
12. What advice would you give someone coloring their hair for the first time?
Select tones that are already in the hair but go a few shades lighter or darker. When placed in the hair it looks very natural and complimentary to the face shape and eye color. |
